With the current fashion for wearing vintage clothes it is not surprising that many brides want to add a little vintage style to the outfit for their special day. There is a traditional wedding day rhyme which states what is needed - Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue. The 'Something Old' could be the dress itself or a gorgeous antique necklace, or a vintage bracelet, maybe a pretty old beaded handbag or a lace fan. A great idea for a unique wedding hair ornament for the bride (or the bridesmaids too) is to use a pretty vintage brooch to decorate a modern hair band. It is important to choose a brooch that is light in weight so it anchors easily to the hair band and sits perfectly in place.
