I am constantly surprised and amazed by the constant comebacks and rebirths that Converse has managed to achieve over the decades. If you are like me and were born in the early eighties, you probably remember the great success and popularity that Converse boots enjoyed back then among youth, teens and young adults alike. If you are even older, you will surely remember them as well since they first came about in 1917! In the eighties, if you wanted to be trendy, you needed to own at least one pair of Converse All Stars, preferably in black or blue and that would just complete the ultimate 'look' alongside your pair of skinny blue jeans and a simple, but classic, white t-shirt. In the nineties, the grunge look came about and Kurt Cobain and the grunge scene began to fade away shortly after.
